RICT Camp 2026 will be held at BRPBAP3 in Maros, South Sulawesi, from September 14–18, 2026, under the theme "Meaningful Community Internet for Climate Resilience and Citizen Self-Reliance."

A continuation of the Co_LABS program launched in 2024, this event focuses not only on internet infrastructure but also on empowering rural communities to address climate challenges and local development needs.

The Rural ICT Camp is an annual event initiated by the Common Room Networks Foundation (Common Room) since 2020. This activity was initially part of the "Supporting Community-led Approaches to Addressing the Digital Divide in Indonesia" (LocNet Project) project, developed in collaboration with the Association for Progressive Communication (APC) and Rhizomatica, and involving ICT Watch and ICT Volunteers. Initiated as part of the flagship Digital Access Programme (DAP), supported by the UK Government, this series of activities is designed to address the digital divide in rural and remote areas of Indonesia through the development of effective, safe, affordable, and meaningful community-based internet infrastructure.
